Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Sydney A. Phillips Scholarship for the academic year 2019/2020 tenable at the University of the West Indies, the University of Technology, Northern Caribbean University or other tertiary institution in Jamaica.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates should:

• Possess good academic records 
• Have already been accepted by the institution and will have completed a minimum of one academic year by July 2019 
• Be a resident of St. Mary 
• Have attended school in St. Mary to at least CXC level 
• Be actively involved in community and/or school activities

VALUE OF COURSE

The award is valued at $200,000.00 per annum.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will be required to serve in Jamaica for a period of three years immediately following completion of their studies. 

Application forms can be obtained from the scholarship offices at UWI and the University of Technology or the offices of Robinson Phillips & Whitehorne in Highgate. 

The completed Application Form along with all supporting documents are to be returned no later than June 14, 2019 to the:
